5 years ago... one of our engagement picturesToday marks our 5 year anniversary! Happy Anniversary Tim! I was thinking about how far we have come in the last 5 years and am amazed at how much we have grown.
In the last 5 years we:
- Rented our 1st apartment together
- Bought 3 new cars
- Celebrated Tim's college graduation
- Went from being a 1-income household to a 2-income household
- Went from having jobs to having careers
- Took some amazing vacations (especially LOVED the cruises to the Caribbean and Hawaii)
- Bought our first house!
- Learned all about what it takes to be a homeowner (remember the water pipe that burst under our house? That was umm... an experience!
- Kept to our budget
- Took fun weekend getaways
- Started out with no pets and then added Echo & Bandit to our family. Love them boys!
- Went from being busy to insanely busy. Oh, how we learned to be more efficient!
- Laughed more than we thought possible
- Have grown in so many ways together
- Learned firsthand how wonderful marriage is!
Next year, we'll be able to add having a baby to this list! I'm sure there are a million things I forgot to include. But, you always seem to remember the things that I forget, so I guess it all works out! I'm so grateful we can share our lives together! I couldn't imagine it any other way. You are a wonderful husband and friend, and I know you'll be a great dad soon. I count myself lucky to spend each day with you. It's been an amazing 5 years- here's to LOTS more!
