Fun with friends- April 2011

Our good friends, the Clements, invited us to join them for the Sacramento mobile food festival. It was a beautiful day and we were excited for all of the great food! The only problem was the lines were SOOOO long! So, rather than wait 1-2 hours in line, we decided to walk a few blocks and enjoy some delicious food from Pronto. Thanks for taking all of the pictures Beka!

That didn't last long. They wanted to explore together and had so much fun!

Easter 2011

We had a wonderful Easter! Ryan had so much fun on all 3 of his Easter egg hunts!

The first was at our Ward Easter Activity

Ryan LOVED the Easter Bunny for leaving some yummy chocolate in his eggs! Apparently, he didn't leave enough.

We also enjoyed having our friends, the Clements, over for Easter dinner. We had lots of good food & great company! I wish I would have remembered to take pictures!

April 2011

Ryan LOVES to play basketball. The problem is he is too short for the big hoop outside, even when we lower it as low as it will go. But, with Daddy's help, he can play!

March 2011

In March, we celebrated Lisa's birthday. Somehow, we the only picture I got was of my adorable niece, Brianna. I guess we were having too much fun and forgot to grab the camera!

Christmas in February

Since Christmas was a rough time for us- my Grandpa passed away 3 days before Christmas, his funeral was just before the New Year, and his 49-day memorial service was in January, we decided to have a delayed Christmas celebration with my Dad's side of the family. So, we celebrated Christmas in February! My Dad cooked a great dinner and we all ate his delicious homemade strawberry ice cream! Ryan was thrilled to open more presents.

February 2011

In February, we celebrated our nephew Cristian's 4th birthday- Chuck E. Cheese style! Ryan loved the pizza, the rides, games, and of course Chuck E. Cheese himself!

Ryan rode this ride at least 5 times before we had to peel him away so we could eat cake & ice cream.

We also had a family dinner to celebrate Cristian's birthday and my Aunt's birthday too.

Welcome 2011

2010 had a lot of ups and downs for us- we lost 2 grandparents. We are looking forward to a nice, calm 2011!

In January, we had a nice birthday dinner for Jocelyn to celebrate her turning the big 2-0!
